Ewan Mcgregor and Christian Bale. That alone should be reason for you to see it. But it gets better. Velvet Goldmine is a movie about glam rock popstar Brian Slade (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers), who happens to be loosely based on David Bowie during his Ziggy Stardust phase. Ewan Mcgregor plays Curt Wilde, who is loosely based on Iggy Pop. The movie is a total mindfuck of inspiration. It's got an amazing soundtrack and did I mention that Ewan McGregor and Christian Bale totally go at it in this. Hot. The movie also stars Toni Collette and Edie Izzard.
Here's the most amazing thing ever on the planet.

As you probably already know, Verne Troyer aka Mini Me aka the dude who peed on the floor in The Surreal Life has a sex tape out. Methinks it's all for publicity for that shitty ass Love Guru movie. Thank god it bombed at the box office.
Anywhoo, you can check out a teaser clip here. But I warn you, do not watch if you have recently eaten. When I say recently, I mean in the last 24-hours.
That being said I'm totally downloading that shit when it gets out.

Olivia Thirlby, Josh Peck and Mary-Kate Olsen attended the screening of their new movie, The Wackness earlier this week in NYC. I really love Olivia, I thought she was great in Juno, and I can't wait to see this movie. Even though it makes me feel old.
MK looks pretty good. It's definately an upgrade on what she wore to the Met a couple of weeks ago.

I haven't watched any of the previous seasons of So You Think You Can Dance, but I'm really, really loving this show. Napoleon and Tabitha are apparently new choreographers and they're killing it. KILLING IT. Their routine for Mark and Chelsie, my favorite couple, was AMAZING last night. I think the judges liked Joshua and Katee the best, and I honestly don't know why. They were my favorite the first week:
But last night it was just ok:
They were good, don't get me wrong, but I think Mark and Chelsie were a million times better.
PS-Last year's Samba between Lacey and Danny was a million times better, imo, and actually included samba in the routine.
