The Golden Globe nominees were announced this morning with
Atonement leading the pack with the most nominations. I actually saw the movie and it was good. Not what I expected, but it was good.
Anyways, Angelina was nominated for
A Mighty Heart, which I honestly think she didn't deserve. She wasn't that great in the movie and I feel she was miscast. I love her, but she wasn't great in that role, to be honest.
Nikki Blonsky was also nominated for
Hairspray, Johnny Depp for
Sweeney Todd, Keira was nominated
for Atonement and so was James McAvoy.
Nikki is actually nominated against Ellen Page for
Juno and Helena Bonham Carter for
Sweeney Todd, Marion Cotillard for
La Vie En Roseand Amy Adams for
Enchanted. I hate it when the people I usually root for end up being in the same category because I can't choose. I haven't seen
Hairspray but I'm counting Nikki out just on the fact that she will never BE Tracy Turnblad. Ricki Lake will always be Tracy to me.
Amy was amazing in
Enchanted but Marion was brilliant in La Vie En Rose so I'm thinking she'll take the win. It's actually one of the best movies of the year, so if you haven't seen it, get on that. I'm going with Marion until I see
Juno and
Sweeney Todd. I love Ellen and Helena so I'm torn between the two until I see the movies.
P.S. - How freaking lucky is Hayden Panettiere for being in close proximity to Ryan Reynolds. Ugh, he's so hot.
P.P.S. - I had a dream with Milo Ventimiglia and that I was a "Hero" and we were in high school and they (don't know who) was trying to catch us and others who had powers. I know, I've been watching that show too damn much.
P.P.P.S. - Ellen Page was in
X3: The Last Stand which is a lot like
Heroes so I just brought the "conversation" full circle. Love it.
