Johnny Depp opens up to Rolling Stone magazine about how his performance in Sweeney Todd was greatly influenced by his real-life family crisis when his daughter, Lily-Rose, was rushed to the hospital because of blood poisoning. He tells the magazine that he can see the pain in his face when watching the performance on-screen because of what was going on with his daughter.

"You can't broom out your head," he said. "You certainly can't broom out your heart.

"And there's a hot wire between them, and everything shows in the eyes.

"So whatever you're feeling in your life, trying to avoid it is some kind of weird obstacle course that there's no way to win. So when it's there, it's there."

He also said that although he went through a rough patch, he had a blast on set with co-stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter. I think the movie was amazing and he was amazing (as always) in it. Y'all should go and see it if you haven't.
