Dr. Phil Is The Devil

I'm sorry, but I had to say it. I know there are people who are all up on him and shit but I think he's disgusting and creepy and just gross.

Britney Spears has obviously been going through a lot. Most of the people around her, including her parents, don't seem to care about her wellbeing and only see her as a cash cow or a way to further their own "fame". Dr. Phil went to visit Britney in the hospital during the time she was at Cedar's Sinai in the special needs unit for allegedly being a danger to herself. After his "visit" he released the following statement to Entertainment Tonight:

"My meeting with Britney and some of her family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.

She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her."

What the fuck kind of doctor makes a statement about your wellbeing after a visit with you to an entertainment news t.v. show? Seriously. If he really cared about her well being, he wouldn't have sprung up on her at the hospital and try and talk her in to doing an intervention on his television show.

According to TMZ, Britney's parents contacted Dr. Phil to try and help Britney. They're going to be appearing on his show, which will be taped later today and aired tomorrow, where they plead for her to get help. Dr. Phil wanted to get Britney on the show to host an "intervention". Admirable as it may sound (not) do you think she's going to listen to you when you're pimping her out on national television? I mean, come on.

And to put the cherry on the pile of ish he created, sources close to Britney say that she didn't know he was coming to visit her at the hospital and didn't want him there. It's usually against policy at a hospital to allow a person to visit someone in the Special Needs unit without their consent, which Britney did not give. She didn't talk to him he didn't walk her to her car, he followed her. She didn't even know he was there. He spoke at her for around fifteen minutes, not the hour he says, and she left.

Yes, Britney needs help. But she also needs to be left alone by people who are using her illness and meltdown for personal gain.

Not cool! Seriously, the whole family sells their drama--like, Jamie Lynn is honestly going to milk her pregnancy for every cent she can. Breaking it to OK was just the first step.
