Becki Newton, who plays the funny-bitchy Amanda on Ugly Betty, is on the cover of Esquire magazine, where she talks about who Amanda is and how she developed the character.
"In my head, I saw a supermodel. I thought a tall skinny bitch should play this part. And then I thought, the only thing funnier than a bitch is someone who wants to be a bitch but fails miserably. That's hysterical."
I love Amanda. I think she's one of the funniest things on that show. Becki is amazing on the show and deserve more credit than she's gotten.
