TMZ claims that a source close to Britney Spears told them that she flunked a drug test but that it was faulty and that she actually passed the test.

But sources over at Ok! say otherwise.

“The only thing that came up on the results was the prescriptions the court doctor prescribed. There has been no illegal drugs or even alcohol in any of the results.”

“If she had tested positive, she wouldn’t be with the boys right now. There are no illegal drugs in her system. Someone is making shit up. This case is sealed and no one has access to the results at all.”

Britney has been prescribed Provigil, an anti-narcolepsy drug that has been said to also help cocaine addicts fight their addictions.

I'm guess that the person making it up is Britney and her people. We all know she loves the publicity.
