I was just on vacation. It was my birthday on the fourth of July and the crew and I went on a little roadtrip/vacation. But I'm back (physically, not mentally. never mentally) and will be up and running fully next week.

5 Favorite Things in my room: my dog is usually in there, my huge jewelry dresser, my bed which is really comfortable, a photograph of myself an ex took post coitus hanging above my bed, and my black candle holders a friend bought me.

5 Things I'm currently into: Astrology, Psychology, The Lord of the Rings trilogy (movies, not books), Miranda! and knitting/crocheting.

And on to six little things about moi:

1)My favorite movies of all time are Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain, Cidade de Deus and Lucia y El Sexo. I can watch them over and over again and still get that same feeling I got the first time I watched them.

2)I'm not a priss, but I consider myself to be a girly girl. Although I curse like a sailor, I don't like burping or spitting or any of that stuff. I always (usually) cross my legs when I wear skirts and I keep my nails clean. I also have to bathe twice a day. I've never gone real camping because of this. I'm ok with that.

3)My dog is like my child. I love that crazy bitch. I feel bad (for about a minute) for kicking her out of the bedroom when the bf comes over, so I set up some blankets for her on the couch. She still scratches the door at some point in the middle of the night, though.

4)I'm anal rententive. Things have to be in a specific order, like files on my computer, for example. I've spent hours organizing things and to be honest, it relaxes me. I can sit at the computer or even my mom's messy cupboard and take everything out, clean it, and put it all back together in an orderly fashion.

5)I love reading V.C. Andrews books. They're totally creapy and incestuous, but they remind me of novelas (latin american soap operas) and are usually always entertaining.

6)I'm not really romantic and am usually "the guy" in my relationships. I remember an ex lit all these candles and all I could think about was the mess the wax would make. And don't get me started on flowers.

Thanks for those who left kind words to the last post. The grammy (Mami, as we have to call her because she's too young to be a grandmother, according to her) is doing fine. Apparently she was on the phone with her sister in the Dominican Republic and she told her she was feeling dizzy. Her sister said to call my aunt or my mom, that way they can see if she has to go to the hospital. My grandmother thought she said to just call the ambulance and that's what she did. I spent all day with her on Friday and Saturday and within those two days she asked me if she could switch nurses to the male one, because he was hot, she asked me to ask the nurse how many penises she'd seen and who was the biggest, and she wanted me to let everyone know that the lady in the room next to her was a bitch. True story.

Anyway, I leave you with the lovely image above of Strawberry Milkshake Oreo cookies. I got them at Target yesterday and OMG. I don't know where I've been, but I just discovered them and they're amazing. Beyond amazing. It's like having eating a chocolate cake with strawberry milk.

I've been super busy with life these past couple of days. It was my mom's 6th 39th birthday on Saturday and my family came down from NYC so it's been all kinds of crazy. Sorry I've been neglecting you guys, I do miss ya! I should be up and completely running by tomorrow.

On another note, I've been gone because I've been moving. My move-in date is for next Friday, so I can't wait. I've been painting, cleaning, packing and best of all shopping. I bought a new bedroom set which is freaking fabulous. The best part about it is that it comes with 5'5 tall jewelry chest that supposed to hold more jewelry than I even own, but who cares, it's amazing.

Sorry I've been M.I.A. for the past couple of days, but I'm in the middle of moving so I didn't have any internet for the past couple of days. My cable worked, thank god. Anyways, I should be a little slow for the next couple of weeks but after March I should be up and running as normal. Thank god, because I seriously don't need to be without my ANTM when it starts up.

So I haven't posted anything all day because I've been busy working on a new layout for the site. I wanted to do something cuter and simpler which actually wasn't all that simple because my brain is in two places right now but that's besides the point.

I didn't realise that you could purchase your domain name through blogger now, (thanks to Julie Q) so when I went to purchase LipstickBitches, it was already taken. Bastards. Thieving bastards. I checked a couple of weeks ago and it was available and was going to do it then but completely forgot because I couldn't find my cc in the stack of crap that was in my purse.

Anyway, now I have to decide on another name for the site/blog, since my first couple of pics (lipstickbitches, lipstickchicks) were already taken (again, bastards). Any suggestions would be v. much appreciated.

So this brings me to the point of this post (finally, god I can talk/type). What do you guys think of the new look? I was tinkering around with some things and it kept throwing off the spacing so if something comes out funky, please please please let me know. And let me know what you think as well.

Sorry haven't updated but as I said before I was on a suprise vacation with the boy and couldn't. I've been trying to catch up on everything that's been happening and have just spent a good two hours reading up on what happened last night to Brit-tit. How sad is that whole situation? Anyways, on with the stories. How did you guys celebrate the new year, btw?

Don't Forget to mail out your Christmas cards ladies and gents! I've just finished stuffing the envelopes (heehee) for mine, which I'm sending out tonight. I know, late, but I've been busy. And I had like a hundred to do.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted since Thursday, but I've been busy with family and the holidays. But I'm back, thankfully, and not dead. Yet.

Hope you guys had an awesome holiday!

I get to cook the turkey and since it's still in the oven, I have a little time here so I'm wishing y'all a happy holiday! And don't forget about black Friday! My ass is going over to the new IKEA and Macy's. Have fun!

Julie Q tagged me so that means I have to write about seven random facts about myself. Don't know who I'll tag yet, but get ready...I might be coming for you.

1) I'm terrified of birds. I don't think something that huge should have the ability to fly. Plus they freak me out.


2) I still love video games. But I'm not really into the war games, I like the cute kids stuff. Like Mario, Zelda and Kingdom Hearts.


3) I have slight OCD with my food. I have to eat things in color order, but only specific things. Like popsicles (which I'm obsessed with) or M&M's or skittles, anything that comes in a variety of colors, I eat them from the color I dislike the most first.


4) I love cooking. I would study to become a chef but I'm a very picky eater. I have the diet of a five year old. I hate all vegetables except maybe cucumbers, I don't eat any kind of seafood, I tend to overcook my meat because I'm afraid it won't be well done, but I don't mind the taste. And I love Taco Bell.


5) Speaking of fast food, I gave it up for two years. It wasn't as hard as I expected, but it made eating difficult, since I was in school at the time and couldn't just grab something and go.


6) I cry really easily, especially during movies and t.v. shows. I was watching Legends of the Fall for the millionth time this weekend and still cried at the end when Alfred hugged the colonel.


7) I love anything on the Food Network, especially Alton Brown. And Ace of Cakes. I don't like Rachael Ray, though.

P.S. - Why do most of these have to do with food? Ugh, I'm such a heifer.

I haven't been posting much all morning because my tortoise, Athena died sometime last night. We've been busy burrying her and whatnot. I'm sad, haven't cried, but I'm definatley down. That little tortoise was the best and I will miss her bunches. She loved walking around the sofa and jumping off; it was cute.

Anywhoo, we don't know why she died, we just woke up and she was dead. She seemed fine last night and was walking around and eating. It seems she died in her sleep. I'll miss the crazy little bitch.
