Kelly Clarkson will be releasing an album for 2008, after My December didn't do as well as expected. Even though it's bound to sell around an impressive 850,000 copies around the country, her label wasn't happy with the songs themselves.

The new album will feature songs selected by Clive Davis and his team. It was reported that Clive was not happy with the choices Kelly made for My December, which featured songs Kelly co-wrote.

Fox News reports that Kelly's new album will heavily feature pop songs, which made the American Idol winner such a mainstream hit.

Kelly Clarkson looked better than she has in a while at the Motorola 9th Annual Anniversary party. It looks like she's losing a bit of weight or maybe it's the hair, I don't know.
