Ewan Mcgregor and Christian Bale. That alone should be reason for you to see it. But it gets better. Velvet Goldmine is a movie about glam rock popstar Brian Slade (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers), who happens to be loosely based on David Bowie during his Ziggy Stardust phase. Ewan Mcgregor plays Curt Wilde, who is loosely based on Iggy Pop. The movie is a total mindfuck of inspiration. It's got an amazing soundtrack and did I mention that Ewan McGregor and Christian Bale totally go at it in this. Hot. The movie also stars Toni Collette and Edie Izzard.



Here's the most amazing thing ever on the planet.

Trainspotting is one of the best movies ever, in my opinion. I know, I say that about a lot of movies, but it really is. Not only is the movie itself amazing, but the soundtrack is phenomenal. And I'm very surprised a lot of people haven't seen it. Sigh. Watch it, trust me, it's good. Just don't watch it while you're eating anything. Especially chocolate pudding.

This is the new trailer for the movie Deception, which was previously titled, The Tourist. Whatever it's called it looks amazing. It stars Ewan McGregor and Hugh Jackman. Which basically means I'm going to see it the day it comes out and buy the dvd. I hope there's tons of male nudity in this.

Ewan McGregor has admitted to having a serious drinking problem and that he would show up to work while drunk. He ended up quitting seven years ago, before he ruined his career.

“I felt it was time to stop. I had drunk enough is the truth - I had my share, your share and everyone’s share.

“There comes a point, and it was quite a clear point for me.

“Things were going to start going downhill with my work and every other aspect of my life. It was the thing that was expendable.”

Does this mean i can't get him drunk and take advantage of him? Damnit.

Ewan McGregor flew to Iraq to present an award to the only British female bomb disposal expert for running into a building and putting out a fire surrounded by explosives

"Most people, and I'm one of them, would run a million miles from a bomb, it's like, 'Get me away from here', but Michelle actually walks towards them and makes them safe. Amazing.

"When I was told about her, and was asked to go and present the award to her in Iraq, I said yes because I really wanted to meet her and show my support."

If it takes running into a burning buildint to meet him, I'd do it.

I thought he would hit the wall by now but he's getting hotter every year. Botox? Maybe but who cares. On the other side of the coin Colin looks horrid. I mean, what the hell happened to him? I was never a fan but I knew he wasn't fug but he ran into that wall a million times since Alexander.

Ewan McGregor showed up to Venice minus the mole on his forehead and everybody's asking "Why's the mole gone?"

The real question is, Who cares?! He's still hot. Mmmmmm Young Adam.
