J.K. Rowling will be writing a short story on Harry Potter that will be turned into a film for the Harry Potter theme park in Universal Studios Orlando. AAAAAAAH! Thank god I have the annual pass. I get them every year for all the parks because that's what the family does when they come down here. And it's fun for a boring weekend.
The park is supposed to open next year or early 2010. Ok, so I might not be living in Orlando then, but still. I'm going to be there opening day.

Two of my favorite people in the same picture! I haven't been this excited since I saw Brad Pitt in Fight Club. J.K. Rowling and Jordan both attended the Galaxy British Book Awards last night in London, looking like the classy ladies they are. Actually, J.K. is a classy lady. Jordan on the other hand...
Wait, what the hell was Jordan doing there? Certainly not for the Drag Queens and Trannies book. But I have to admit that I love Jordan a little more for wearing glitter green and gold eyeliner/shadow.

She pulls me back in. I really can't hate on anybody who reads Harry Potter. Especially since that was me reading Deathly Hallows, waiting for my class to start just yesterday.
Hayden Panettiere was snapped by the paps reading (the best book ever) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows yesterday in Washington DC's Union Station.

The picture that's been circulating around the internet as the new teaser poster for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is a fake, according to WB. ::tear::
It's actually a really good poster. Yeah, I know the quote is wrong and it was night when they went to the cave, but still, I love it.
And WB better come up with a helluva better poster.

Why does this picture of a poster excite me more than a lot of things? Because it's all about Harry Potter, that's why. How freaking amazing is that poster? Sigh. Half Blood Prince wasn't my favorite book in the series but I'm hoping Yates will redeem himself from turning Order of the Phoenix into the shittacular movie that it was. Ok, it wasn't that bad, but no Dobby? Come on, Yates.

I finished re-reading this book earlier this week and cannot wait for this movie to come out!!! Ugh, the wait is totally going to kill me.
P.S. - If you havne't heard, there's going to be a Harry Potter amusement park that's being built in Island of Adventure at Universal Studios here in Orlando. Y'all should totally come out with me at the opening. Sure it isn't until a year from now, but at least it's giving you time to plan ahead.

Lily Allen attended the Chanel 2007/2008 collection show in London yesterday looking better than usual. But that lipstick has got to go. She's worn around the same shade for the past couple of events and it does not work for her.
The dress is kind of cute, but I'm not digging the sleeves. I'd rip them right off. But that's just me.
Lookie who else was there:
How flipping cute does she look! Love the jacket.

Emma Watson attended a Chanel party at Nobu in London looking cute in a black dress. I love the look but that lipstick needs to go. Did I speak too soon in hoping she wouldn't turn into a party girl? I hope not.
P.S. - Emma, love. STAY AWAY FROM THESE TWO!!!

Warner Bros have released information about the upcoming HP & The Half Blood Prince movie and said that Hepzibah Smith, the muggle prime minister, and the Gaunts have been written out of the movie. I understand Hepzibah and the prime minister but the Gaunts? Are they serious? What's the point of the book if they're not going to include Voldemort's past?!?!? The book wasn't my favorite out of the bunch, but it could've been an amazing movie and now I'm not even all that excited about seeing it. Truth.
I'm not a fan of David Yates (the director) because of what he did with The Order of the Phoenix. I mean, that was an amazing book and to cut so much of it out was insane. In my opinion it was the worst of the Harry Potter movies, which sucks because it was one of the better books.

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, posed for pictures for British In Style and talks about how excited she was to start working on her upcoming movie, Ballet Shoes. The movie is set in 1930's London and centers around Pauline (played by Emma) and her sisters.
I'm currently re-reading HP & The Half Blood Prince (I know, I'm a dork) and I can't wait to see it played out on the big screen. I'm not a fan of what ??? did with HP & the Order of the Phoenix, but whatevs. It's still Harry Potter.
But getting back to Emma, I love that she's cute and dresses for her age and doesn't try to be overtly sexual or let herself become sexualized. A lot of 17 year olds in Hollywood play up to that lolita sexpot in their teens and I'm glad she's not one of them, because she is a role model. I hope I'm not going to have to eat my words if at some point next year, after she turns 18, she poses for Maxim in classic tween poses.

Jessie Cave has been cast as Lavendar Brown in the remaining Harry Potter movies. I'm not sure if I approve or not. We shall see if it's a good choice soon.

Alfie Allen has replaced Daniel Radcliffe in Equus, and I'm totally downgrading the it. First of all, Alfie needs to put his shirt back on. Second of all, ew, he's going to be naked. Nobody needs to see any of the Allens nekid.
To see the uncensred picture of Alfie and his costar, Laura O'Toole, who is also rumored to be Daniel's girlfriend, click the censored pic. Dirtie pervies!

British actress Helen McCrory has been cast as Narcissa Malfoy, sister to Bellatrix Lestrange and mother to Draco Malfoy. She was supposed to originally be cast in the fifth movie, but had to drop out because she was expecting a baby.
I'm super excited for the new movie to come out. I didn't really like The Order of the Phoenix, and I know the same guy is directing this one, but still, it's Harry Potter. We seriously need to petition Guillermo del Toro as director. Pan's Labyrinth was famazing.

Daniel Radcliffe is said to be dating the 22-year old understudy to his Equus co-star, Laura O'Toole.
The two have been seen together after getting really close during his run in Equus on the west end. They were caught together this past weekend, fueling even more rumors of a romance.
I love me some Dan Rad, even though it makes me feel like a dirty, dirty pervert, but I can't help but be reminded of K.D. Lang everytime I see him. I know, I need help.

Emma Watson attended the UK Kid's Choice Awards where she was voted best actress. Her outfit is totally cute, too. I love those boots. How many of you are excited to see her in something other than Harry Potter?

J.K. Rowling has revealed that Dumbledore was gay! Joe read from the book and answered some fan questions at Carnegie hall. The Leaky Couldron reports:
First, the biggest revelation of the night came when Jo revealed to her audience the fact that Albus Dumbledore is gay and had fallen in love with fellow wizard and friend, Gellert Grindelwald. This elicited a huge reaction and prolonged ovation. So much so, it promoted Jo to say:
"If I had known this would have made you this happy, I would have told you years ago."
She should have come out with that in the last book instead of writing that horrible epilogue. Sigh. My little Dobby...
She also revealed more things that you should probably read at the source, if you've already finished the book or if you just want to be spoiled.
P.S. - This totally reaffirms my theory that Ian McKellen should have been Dumbledore after Richard Harris. Sigh

According to a post on Mugglenet, Jim Broadbent says he's going to be playing Horace Slughorn in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Bob Hoskins would've been great but Jim's cool too. I can't wait until the next movie!
